Naked and ready to ride...

The other option on a rainy saturday, when the wife is gone and you have to watch the kids? Strip the shitty blue paint job off the pretty titanium... So, now I have a not yet polished, but all clean titanium ride, with a blue fork (can't strip carbon, so we'll have to buy a new fork soon...) and two blue bottle holders... very strange look , the bike actually seems smaller.

Anyway, the only thing I messed up was the cable to the rear derailleur. I could ride in just one gear, and only use the three rings in front, or she could go to the shop for a tune-up and new wire... but she's all naked...and she's not all polished yet...

BikeSource it is.

Oh, and Sunday was another 5.5 hour session on the moguls and steeps of Winter Park. This week, we're going for serious effort and strength off the bike until she's fixed. February is muscle month.

FAST (not fat)

Naked Ti...ooooooooooooh. I feel a serious sin coming on. Thou shall not covet thy neighbor's......bike?

Ol' Blue Bastard will never be the same. Take a flick and poster her up. Blue forks on a naked frame....wow.

Redlight, you will also have other options soon. Forgot to tell you two that the Pedal'r over by Target is expanding by 65%. They are moving to the back side of the strip center that faces C-470. Also, they are adding Litespeed to the models that they carry. Adam, the young guy that runs that location for Ed, was telling me that they will have more bikes, gear, etc. than the Wildcat/HR Parkway location. They will also have a much bigger repair shop. They should be moving over to the new location very soon. Check it out.

I did a little bike remodeling also, but not quite so drastic. I changed out my shredded blue Rubino Pros and installed brand new RED Rubino Pros. The red looks sweet next to the darker carbon and better matches the Bontrager logos all over the wheels, seatpost and stem. Carla is looking good with new tires, new chain and new Arione saddle. Release the hounds!

Sounds like it'll rival BikeSource. However, I get free tuning for life there, due to the purchase. I'll definitely check it out, though.
