Pedal'r Soiree - RECAP

Had a good time at Pedal'r last night. Ate some free hors d' ouevres, drank a Fat Tire (appropriate in a bike shop) and listened to a Trek sales rep pimp their new rides and Trek Travel vacations. The information on the new bikes was basic, and kept brief for those with adult ADD.

The Trek Travel info was amazing. I am completely stoked about trying to do a Trek Travel vacation. I have one of their catalogs with all of the various rides and information. I also secured two (2) 15% off coupons for Trek Travel vacations. Now I just need to convince a friend or the Mrs. to go with me.

Anyone up for the "Classic Climbs of the TdF"? How about "California Wine Country", including a ride and dinner with the Disco team - plus VIP access to the T-Mobile in San Francisco. There are approximately 40 - 50 different vacations to choose from across the US and Europe. All include food, first class hotel accommodations, ride support and they provide you with a Madone 5.2 to ride during the trip. Very cool. All vacations are between $1,075 and $3,275 per person, with the exception of a few vacations where LA, Graham Watson or some other cycling "celebrity" joins you on the trip. The only thing not provided is airfare. Who's with me?

Who needs airfare? We'll either ride to the start or take my jet.

We'll go and use the jet that our children provide from the sweat of their brow...oh yeah, that's you Dirt and the new ultra Mom, Brooke. Still don't have a bike to practice with yet. Mom
