Velonews reports:

Ending months of speculation - and underscoring what Oprah fans already knew - Lance Armstrong announced Wednesday he will start the 2005 Tour de France and make a run for a seventh consecutive maillot jaune.

Oh, yeah...

Gotta say I had to wait and see it on the paceline.com I can't force myself to watch the chocolate man-hater, no matter who the guest might be.

As for the TdF, I am curious to see how close it can be. What team is going to be able to rival Disco? Fat Jan and the Pinkies will never, ever be able to touch Disco, even without the Boss. Tyler (with the help of Floyd) could do it with the enhanced hermatocrit that he favors. Only problem is is that this would be illeagal.

I think T-mobile could be strong if they decide who is the lead man. Vino, Kloeden or Ullrich...

They certainly have several ways to attack and see what breaks. Then again, that's what we thought last year.

I don't see Tyler riding this year, and Floyd probably isn't quite strong enough to hang.

Excuse me, I have to go put the TDF calender in my schedule, so I don't have patients bothering me when I'm watching the show...
