Skinny on Ulrich???

Check him out next to these other riders. He doesn't look fat to me. He held back at the Tour de Suisse, he can time trial, and he's bringing a newly focused team set to ride for him... I think he is at least better prepared than ever. What fun it will be.

Pretty lame to place the blame for their past failures on Erik Zabel. Sure Jan is skinny now. You should have seen him when we were eating Haagen Dazs back in December and January.

I'm just saying, it's not exactly the old Jan, is it? I believe that from a healthy, competitive nature, this may be Lance's hardest tour.

Mayo, Basso, Vino, Ulrich, and others are at least as prepared as last year if not better. It's going to be awesome.

A little observation.....this same cast of characters were supposed to dethrone Big Tex last year. Seems they all got their chamois handed to them. Furthermore, I draw your attention to Stage 16 of 2004 TdF. Kloden HAD the victory. Big Tex pulled out the uber competitive move of crushing Andres at the line and proclaimed "no gifts". '05 will be no gifts again. Fat Jan will be lucky to see the podium. You heard it first here, there will be two, possibly three Americans on the podium this year. Sorry Roooooooodlicht but the euro trash that rides in the peloton will cave early and often. Just ask Roberto........tranquillo
