Tommy D

The Vuelta got rolling this morning with the Prologue where Tommy D. threw down a nice #5. "Floor Boy" Beloki decked to finish near the bottom; I can't believe he is back racing after the '04 wreck. And what the hell is Floyd/Phonak thinking? Dude is racing the Vuelta? Sicko.

Clean as a whistle

Our boy LA was on Larry King Live tonight to address the new doping allegations from the fat piece of trash, Jean Marie LeCrap. I watched the whole thing, tivoed and rewatched certain responses. Bottom line is that Big Tex did not dope. The allegations are bunk. One of his greatest points is that he has consistently gotten better and faster since '99. So then, how would he have gotten better if he was a doper in '99 and had to quit? He also said that he has never used performance enhancing drugs and that the only time that he used EPO was in 96 when fighting cancer.

I believe him to be telling the truth.

LeBlanc is a spineless wuss

If you were in charge of one the world's great events, would you want this kind of controversy? I guess that I can only come to the conclusion that LeBlanc was born yellow.....and not the Malliot Jeane kind of yellow.

A 'love-hate relationship,' Armstrong says - Other Sports - MSNBC.com: "But in one sense, Armstrong felt the same way, saying he talked to Leblanc on the telephone after the tour director spoke to LEquipe, but before those remarks were published.
I actually spoke to him for about 30 minutes and he didnt say any of that stuff to me personally, Armstrong said. "

T-Oldbile

What the heck are the pinkies thinking? They have signed some fossils to replace Zabel and Vino. This is the dumbest team management in sports. They couldn't get Fat Jan to stay in shape, the had no support for Vino. What a total joke.

Tuesday's EuroFile: Danielson, Barry ready for Vuelta; No world's for Jan: "The team announced it has signed contracts with Ukraine rider Sergei Honchar and Italian Eddy Mazzoleni. Honchar, 35, is a time trial specialist and won the world time trial title in 2000, but finished second in the 2004 Giro d'Italia. Mazzoleni, 32, rode well as co-captain to Gilberto Simoni this season at Lampre-Caffita. "

Sorry Dude

Looks like if you want to ride with Redlight its gonna be a short ride. The following is from today's Denver post.

DenverPost.com - LOCAL NEWS: "Centennial - Vowing not to let the city become the 'red- light district' of the south metro area, Centennial leaders are crafting an ordinance to restrict how and where strip clubs and adult bookstores could operate. "
