Rode a new route with Hammerson and Johnny Bank. We left the ranch around 7:30 to hook up with Hammerson then rode across Chatfield to pick up Craig and two of his neighbors in Ken Caryl. From there, we trucked across the Ken Caryl Valley on the inside of the Hog Back, dropped like a stone to 285 then up the hill to Morrison. From Morrison, we entered Red Rocks at the north entrance and climbed to the top of the amphitheater. Man what a cool section of mountains to climb through. After a pit stop at the top, we dropped down to 470 and rolled home. 50 miles in about 3:15. Not a blistering pace but awesome none the less.
